In pulmonary arteriovenous fistula, there are abnormal communications between the pulmonary arteries and the pulmonary vies; the capillary networks that normally separate arteries from veins is absent. The only available treatment of this
uncommon
variety is an excision.
We report a case of pulmonary arteriovenous fistula cured by segmentectomy with a review of literatures.
